Toulouse vs. Leinster - Top Performers

Jack Conan - Conan showed that he is one of the best number eights in the competition in setting up Sean O' Brien for Leinster's opening score of the game with nimble footwork and a superb offload. The dynamic back row was impressive at the breakdown in winning two turnovers and making 10 tackles. The Ireland international carried with determination each time contributing 34 metres on a heavy Toulouse pitch and beating four defenders. His ability to create line breaks and genuine try scoring opportunities with his eye for a gap provides Joe Schmidt with an alternative to the direct carrying approach of CJ Stander.
Maxime Medard - Medard gave an assured performance at left wing in crossing for two tries and giving the hosts a territorial advantage with a clever kicking game. The French veteran was aggressive in defence and led the Toulouse effort from the front. He gained 62 metres with ball in hand, beating two defenders and scoring the all important game winner.
Sean Cronin - 'Express Bus' Cronin showed his pace once again in hitting a blindside line from Johnny Sexton to get Leinster back into the game early in the second half. The potent hooker scored a similar try against Wasps last week and looks sure to be in Joe Schmidt's plans come November and the 6 Nations. The Limerick native made 7 carries for a gain of 34 metres and beat three defenders in attack. He completed five tackles and threw accurately at lineout time.
