Toulon overrun by stunning Bordeaux comeback

Bordeaux egles have staged an almighty comeback to record a 28-23 victory over defending Top 14 champions Toulon at the Stade Chaban Delmas.



The hosts scored three unanswered tries after trailing 20-9, with Metuisela Talebula picking up a double, as they kept themselves in the hunt for a playoffs berth.



Tries to Josua Tuisova and Maxime Mermoz had seen Toulon dominate the first half before a mix-up between Delon Armitage and Sébastien Tillous-Borde allowed Bordeaux's Hugh Chalmers to cross just before half-time.
