Toulon hold on to secure all-French Champions Cup final

This was not a great advert for European rugby.

And it now gives the Champions
Cup an all-French final, which is not the spectacle the new competition
would have wanted either.



A turgid game of poor skill levels was forced into extra time when neither
side were able to score a try in the full 80 minutes and could only match
each other with four dropped goals apiece.



The extra time gave the game an extra tension and pretty soon a contentious
yellow card was awarded to Ali Williams for pulling down Devin Toner under
the high ball.
