Top Performers: Leinster v Saracens

Billy Vunipola

After a stellar semi-final display against Munster at the Ricoh, Billy took his performance to the next level at St. James' Park. He won the battle on the gainline with every carry and provided a few crucial turnovers for his side. One of the most devastating ball carriers in world rugby, Vunipola scored the game winning try for Saracens to lead them to a third European trophy.

Brad Barritt

The defensive lynchpin of the Sarcens wolfpack, Barritt put in a tireless shift for the Premiership side as he completed an amazing tally of 28 tackles and carried hard at the line with ball in hand. Injury to his ankle placed doubts about his availability for today's game but the pain threshold the former England international plays through defies convention.

Alex Goode

Exiled by Eddie Jones for England, the winner of the European Player of the Year for 2019 was simply superb in all facets of play against Leinster. Calm and collected under the aerial threats posed by the Irish province, Goode defused the Sexton bombs and dominated the airspace to retain possession for Saracens, providing a platform for his side to launch their attack from. He made 40 metres in attack and further pushed himself into the international plans of Eddie Jones. Well, we hope anyway.
