Dane Coles - New Zealand

Dane Coles was exemplerary today. His lineouts were consistently accuarate and he was a nuisance at the break down time and time again. He was incredible in the loose, he carried very well and made great yardage often. He displayed his incredible skill set, in particular his handling ability throughout the game. He assisted three tries today with excellent passing and great spatial awareness to put his teamates through in space to crash over the try line. He was instrumental in securing victory for The All Blacks today.

Will Genia - Australia

Will Genia showed several signs today that he is getting back to his old self. His pass was quick and accurate, he marshalled his forwards well and he was on form with the boot. He made several scintllating breaks and he regularly had the Argentinian defenders scampering back towards their own try line in pursuit of him. He worked hard throughout the game and got his just rewards when he went over the try line twice, one was a sniping dive from the back of a ruck, and the other was a strong tackle which knocked the ball free, he chased and regathered getting what he deserved for his determination and hard work.

Bernard Foley - Australia

Bernard Foley was excellent today, a key player for the Wallabies. Even though he was playing in the centre, he still used his experience and game management skills to control the tempo and flow of the game. His kicking out of hand was accurate, he consistently found touch when necessary and was on hand to send long clearance kicks deep into opposition territory when Australia were under pressure. He was impressive off the tee successfully making 4/5 place kicks. All in all it was a very mature performance from Foley and it is clear that he was key in his sides victory today.
