Top 3 performers: Toulouse vs Connacht

The French international was outstanding in Toulouse's game against Connacht. Huget's attack optimised the slickness and flair associated with Toulouse. Huget was menacing going forward cutting holes through the Connacht attack and managed to set up Toulouse's second try of the game. Huget defended well with some nice cover tackles which helped keep the Connacht attack at bay for most of the game.

Grey put in a hugely physical performance to help secure a win over Connacht. The big second row worked well around the park seemingly covering every blade of grass. Grey was impressive at line out time using his height well to secure Toulouse ball. Grey's efforts won him the man of the match award.

Despite his side falling short against a strong Toulouse side, Muldoon was the catalyst that Connacht needed coming into the second half. With the Irish province trailing after the interval, the big no. 8 took the game by the scruff of the neck, displaying the inspirational role he plays as captain as he led from the front to power over for his side's only try of the game. Despite the loss, Muldoon's work rate could not be flawed as he desperately went in search of that losing bonus point up until the final minute. While their European hopes have come to an end, Muldoon's captaincy will certainly still be needed for Connacht's Pro12 campaign this year.
