Nemani Nadolo
The gargantuan winger was in flying form for his Montpellier side today, despite the fact that they were defeated at the hands of French rivals, Castres. Castres attempted to keep the number eleven out of the game by shooting up in defence, preventing the ball from getting out to him. However, the Fijian broke the gainline every time he got his hands on the ball. He went on a rampaging run, breaking three tackles before showing soft hands to offload to Jesse Mogg, who went over to score. The flyer also went over for his own five-pointer, intercepting a pass from Steve Mafi and racing away, putting his side in the lead and ultimately getting them a losing bonus point.
Camille Lopez
The French out-half was crucial to his Clermont side today, as they demolished Ulster at Stade Marcel Michelin. The out-half put the ball on a plate for Nick Abendanon to score, with a pinpoint accurate cross-field kick. Minutes later the number ten picked off a pass from Ruan Pienaar and showed great wheels to beat the Ulster defence and score in the corner. The French international also kicked a penalty and conversion from the tee, in the second half, to round off a fantastic performance.
Nick Abendanon
The former English international was in flying form for Clermont today, as he went over for a brace of scores. The first was after some good work by his forwards up the middle. The ball was then spun wide to Remi Lamerat, who made it as hard as possible for the Englishman, as he almost held onto the ball for too long before he fired it to the wing. Abendanon then showed his fantastic finishing skills and great feet to score. It is no wonder that the speedster has been moved from fullback to the wing by the Clermont coaching staff. The former Bath star went over for his second after he caught a magnificent cross-field kick from his out-half and dived over in the corner. This brilliant performance will most definitely result in more English fans calling for Eddie Jones to break the rules and include him in his international squad for the six nations.
