Top 3 performers - England vs Italy

The big second row put in a hearty performance against the Italians. Launchbury's work rate was second to none this afternoon. He carried well and managed to break the Italian line on a number of occasions which helped England get into their stride. Launchbury's hugely physical performance gained him the man of the match award.

Having been injured at the start of the tournament Nowell started the game on the bench and what an impact he made coming off it. The winger was a live wire when he came on and managed to get two tries for all his efforts which helped secure England's 36-15 victory. No doubt Nowell has earned a start for the next game.

As always the stand out player for Italy. Parisse showed off some impressive skills often looking like an inside back rather then a number 8. Parisse led from the front and his leadership shone through in the first half as Italy went into the break leading, a classy performance from a world class player.
