A strong second half saw Toulon notch up just there fourth French Top 14 win of the season with a 22-3 home victory over Grenoble in round 11. The first half was a tight affair, which saw Grenoble open the scoring with a penalty after 27 minutes for a 3-0 lead. Toulon would have to wait for the dying seconds of the half to get on the scoreboard, as they slotted a penalty to level matters at 3-3 at the break. Toulon started the second half strongly, with two tries in the opening 15 minutes seeing the hosts take control heading into the final quarter with a 15-3 advantage. Toulon would put the icing on the cake with their third try with the final play of the match earning them the bonus point victory.
