Tom Cowan-Dickie and Alexander Cant commit to Cornish Pirates

Cornish Pirates have confirmed that Tom Cowan-Dickie and Alexander ‘AJ’ Cant have committed their immediate future to the club.

Cornishman Tom, who is in a second spell with the club since joining from Plymouth Albion last year, has signed a two-year contract, while wing AJ has signed a one-year contract.

Cornish Pirates coaching duo, comprising Alan Paver and Gavin Cattle commented: “We are extremely pleased to re-sign Tom. He has not only been a massive contributor on the field since joining us from Albion but has also proved a very mature young leader off the field as well.”

Cowan-Dickie has made 17 appearances for the Pirates this season, which would have been more but for injury.

18-year-old Cornish-born AJ served an apprenticeship at Exeter Chiefs and to aid his development has also enjoyed regular game time at Redruth.
