Todd Clever returns to the field

Austin Elite Rugby is pleased to announce that USA Eagles icon Todd Clever, will return to the field for the inaugural Major League Rugby 2018 season. 
 
Having joined as an ambassador in 2016, whilst still playing full time professional rugby in Europe and for the USA Eagles. Todd has played an integral part on and off the field, assisting with player recruitment and mentorship. 

“I have really enjoyed the business side of rugby, and I thought my playing days were over, but I do have a rubber arm when it comes to playing” said Clever.

“To be part of Major League Rugby  as a player, is really special."

Todd’s experience and commitment to the game saw the Austin Huns win the USA Rugby Division 1 Championship in 2017.  After an intense pre-season and some player injuries, Austin Elite Rugby has reached out to Todd Clever, to put his boots back on and play.
