Incredible opening Premiership game of the weekend as 2 teams fighting to miss the drop locked horns.
Ah You vs Genge:
A battle that went on for the entire game seeing both players earn little wins and assert themselves with huge carries and big hits later on in the game.
Vereniki Goneva:
The forever young Fijian was incredible as he rolled back the years, again, to show up a number of youngster with neat steps great pace and hard carries. Unlucky to end the game on the losing side.
Guy Thompson:
The Man of the Match stood up when the Leicester Tiger's needed him to. 14 tackles, 2 steals, 2 tries and 8 carries tell a small bit of his incredible 80 minutes of rugby he was head and shoulders the top performer on the night.
Newcastle Falcons:
They are by no means out of the Premiership but with 3 games left they have to rely on some sides to do them some favor's. They play Saints (H), Gloucester (A) and Bristol (H) to finish their campaign and if the next 3 weeks are good to them the final fixture against the Bears will be incredible.
Leicester Tigers:
Their Premiership fate is in their own hands now with Bristol (H), Quins (A) and Bath (H) to secure their survival in England's Top flight for next season. A win next round against the Bears will secure them and put the Bristol side in the race for survival.
