Ten Changes To Fiji's Starting XV

Fiji Rugby Head Coach John McKee has named his Flying Fijians side for their final Pacific Series Test match against the Maori All Blacks in Rotorua on Saturday.

McKee has made ten changes to its run on side which defeated the Maori All Blacks 27-10 at Suva’s ANZ Stadium last weekend.

The Sharks have confirmed that loose forward duo Jean-Luc and Dan du Preez will leave the Durban-based franchise with immediate effect and join their older brother Robert du Preez at the Sale Sharks on permanent deals.

The Wallabies lose Lealiifano & Sio ahead of Springbok test

Six players will return to Australia with Jack Maddocks and Rob Valetini released for club duties this weekend.

 
Scott Sio (adductor) and Christian Lealiifano (shoulder) will miss the Test against South Africa and will now complete their injury rehabilitation in their home cities before re-joining the squad in Brisbane next week.

Newcastle Falcons sign Sharks Super Rugby star Philip van der Walt

Newcastle Falcons have announced the signing of back-rower Philip van der Walt on a three-year deal from South African Super Rugby side, the Sharks.

 

Van der Walt played his first provincial rugby as a teenager with South Africa's Eastern Province, going on to enjoy a successful six-season spell with Free State Cheetahs, also playing Super Rugby for the Cheetahs.

Ulster's new recruit struck with long-term injury

Ulster's new front row recruit Gareth Milasinovich has been dealt a cruel blow ahead of the new season after he suffered a knee injury in pre-season training that will delay his debut for the club.

The prop, who arrived at Ulster from Premiership club Worcester Warriors, will now miss nine months after undergoing surgery to repair what has been confirmed by Ulster as an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury.
