Quade Cooper rejects contract extension at Toulon:

Cooper has reportedly rejected a contract extension at Toulon and will return to Australia. Wallaby coach, Michael Cheika, has publically stated that he wants Cooper to return to Australia and the Wallabies to play his rugby. Many suggesting that he may join the Rebels.

Eddie Jones names his side for the 2nd Test:

George Ford and Jack Nowell return to the starting line up for England as they prepare for the 2nd test against Australia this Saturday. A win for the visitors will give them the series win and with David Pocock out injured, they will fancy their chances.

Foley sacked as Force coach:


After 4 seasons at the franchise, Michael Foley has been sacked with immediate effect. The Force have had a poor run over the past 2 seasons

World Rugby U20 Championship Semi Finalists:


Ireland face Argentina in the the World Rugby U20 Semi Finals while England face South africa who made a miracle recovery against France to win with a bonus point and knock New Zealand out of a semi final spot. The games will take place on Monday and are covered live on Ultimate Rugby.

Juandre Kruger shock for Sale Sharks:

The Springbok seemed to have a signed and sealed deal at Sale but the Racing 92 man will not be joining the Premiership side and looks set to join Toulon instead, sighting family reasons for the decision.

Vermeulen and De Jager sit out of training:

The Springboks have a slight injury worry ahead of their 2nd Test with Ireland as Duane Vermeulen and Lood de Jager both sat out of training this week. The side to play will be announced at 2pm local time today.

Wales name side for 2nd Test:

Both Luke Charteris and Sam Warburton have been named in the starting line up for the 2nd Test after playing against the Chiefs on Tuesday. Warburton will start his 3rd game in 7 days.
