Alex Lozowski commits to Saracens

Alex Lozowski has signed a contract extension with Saracens, Lozowski joined Saracens from Wasps in 2016 & has signed a two-year deal that will keep him at the club through to 2020.

Wilco Louw extends WP stay

Recently capped Springbok tighthead prop Wilco Louw has reportedly signed a new contract to remain with Western Province and the Stormers until 2020.

According to a Netwerk24.com article, the 23-year-old confirmed that he and the Western Province Rugby Union agreed on terms earlier this week.

Japan name 34-man squad for November Tests

Japan head coach Jamie Joseph announced his 34-man squad for the game against a World XV and tests against Australia, Tonga and France, with Toshiba Brave Lupus forward Michael Leitch leading the team in their upcoming four matches.

Harumichi Tatekawa was named as a co-captain but is set to miss the games against the World XV and the Wallabies after picking up an injury playing for Kubota Spears last weekend.

Richie Mo'unga won't be released to play for Canterbury

All Blacks coach Steve Hansen on Thursday confirmed that Richie Mo'unga, who was called into the squad as injury cover ahead of Saturday night's third Bledisloe Cup test, would not return to Christchurch to play for the red and blacks. 

The All Blacks, who have opted to start Lima Sopoaga and for fullback Damian McKenzie to provide first-five cover in Beauden Barrett's concussion forced absence, indicated earlier in the week Mo'unga would be released if he didn't make the match-day 23.
