The Rugby Players Ireland Awards Winners

The Rugby Players Ireland Awards took place on Wednesday evening. Garry Ringrose received the Nevin Spence Young Player of the Year award at the Rugby Players Ireland Awards on Wednesday evening to add to what has already been a landmark season for the Blackrock College man.

Garry Ringrose received the Young Player of the Year award, the 22-year-old Leinster centre made his senior Ireland debut against Canada last November, before going on to play against New Zealand the following week and score his first senior try in the win over Australia.

Tadhg Furlong was named the Supporters’ Player of the Year – an award voted for by the public.

Robbie Henshaw’s try in Ireland’s historic win over the All Blacks was selected as the Try of the Year, while the final award of the evening, the Players’ Player of the Year, went to Munster Rugby’s Conor Murray.
