Gloucester could be without Matt Kvesic for the European Champions Cup
play-off this month after the flanker was sent off in the win over London
Irish on Saturday.
Craig Maxwell-Keys, the referee, dismissed Kvesic for a
tip tackle on Tomás O’Leary, the London Irish scrum half, in the 21st minute
at Kingsholm.
Kvesic immediately apologised and was supported by David
Humphreys, the director of rugby at Gloucester.
“Technically, it was a red
card, but there was no intent,” Humphreys said.
