The first of the Irish derbies as Leinster cross swords with Ulster

A repeat of the 2019-20 final kicks off Round 11 as Leinster tackle Ulster. It is a clash which promises to deliver the goods as only a top-of-the-table duel can.

Ulster are currently enjoying top spot in Conference A with 46 points to their name after 10 outings while the men in blue trail them by 10 points in second place, although with only 8 games behind them.

The last round brought with it a dramatic upset as Connacht claimed their first victory at the RDS after they downed Leinster 35-24. It was a determined and impressive performance by Connacht who attacked hard and withstood attempts at fight-backs from their opponents.

Ulster pulled off a brilliant victory against Conference B log-leaders Munster; 15-10 at Kingspan Stadium. As was expected it was a hard-fought encounter but Ulster revelled in the result which was their tenth straight win in a row.

All things considered, the stage is set for Ulster to settle the score with their countrymen after the last time they met when, Leinster dashed Iain Henderson’s troops’ hopes of hoisting the trophy after the 2019-20 final.

Leinster will, however, be dangerous after their loss last weekend as they are, at the end of the day, a quality side who will be vigorously eager to set right their failing.

This will not be one to miss with many of Ireland’s finest bringing their best to the pitch.
