Taulupe Faletau "never wavered" from his desire to join Bath Rugby, according to Mike Ford. The star number eight's region, Newport Gwent Dragons, and the Welsh Rugby Union have both said he was keen to sign a national dual contract (NDC) and negotiations had been going on as recently as this week. But from Bath's point of view he always made it clear a move across the Severn Bridge was what he wanted. The Chronicle understands he put pen to paper last week.
