Symptom-free George North raring to go for Northampton Saints and Wales after concussion fears

George North last night dismissed the notion people should be concerned about his state of health even though his national coach, Warren Gatland, stated at the weekend he was “hugely worried” about the repeated concussions that have afflicted the Northampton wing during the season.

“It’s looking positive,” North told The Daily Telegraph.

“I am symptom-free at the moment and going through the return-to-play protocols.

I am doing that over a two-week period rather than the normal one week, so that I get plenty of time to recover.
