Surgery shortens Baker's season
Dan Baker has undergone surgery on his shoulder and will miss the last two games of the season.
The number eight went under the knife at Spire Hospital, Cardiff, on yesterday and will now can only target a return to full training in pre-season.
"Dan aggravated a shoulder issue in the Treviso game," confirmed Chris Towers, Medical Performance Manager.
"Given the nature of his problem, it was decided that it would be in Dan's best interest to cut short his season and prioritise getting the shoulder repaired"
The surgery meant he missed the region's annual dinner last night where he was due to receive his Ospreys cap for passing 50 appearances earlier this season.
