Super Rugby Round 12 Highlights: Crusaders v Hurricanes

Crusaders made it 11/11 after a well ground out win over a misfiring Hurricanes side. In a match which we thought would be raining with tries, it was quite the opposite as the only try of the game came from Matt Todd after 50 minutes. It was an edgy first half with both sides kicking 3 penalties a piece in the opening half. Eventually after a sustained period of pressure, a powerful driving maul from the home side led to a try to for Matt Todd. Crusaders were the dominant side and nullified the threat of the Barrett's and Richie Mo'unga's boot closed out the game to cement their place at the top of the NZ conference.
