Super Rugby Preview: Brumbies
- 2258
The Brumbies were the top performing Australian side in last year’s Super Rugby tournament with 10 wins out of their 16 games (including the quarter-final).
The Canberra side will soon find out what life is like without the likes of long-time hooker Stephen Moore and fly-half Matt Toomua, as they move to Reds and Leicester Tigers respectively. They will also be without the services of Wallaby flanker, David Pocock as he takes sabbatical leave.
The new recruits of Kyle Godwin and Saia Fainga’a will bridge the gap between departing players as they bring a mix of youth and experience.
The Brumbies will start their 2017 Super Rugby campaign when they visit Christchurch in an epic opening match against The Crusaders.
