Those of us who love French rugby are sorely disappointed by Philippe St-André’s team today.

Where is the famous French flair? Where the elan that had magical tries being scored from deep in their own half, as the ball passed through at least half-a-dozen pairs of hands? The bludgeon has replaced the rapier, and rugby is the poorer.
