Sky Sports expected to be awarded Pro14 broadcasting rights

Sky Sports are reportedly leading the pack in the race to become official broadcasters of the revamped Pro16 competition next year, which will involve the usual teams plus the top four South African franchises.

Premier Sports are the current broadcasters having landed a three-year, £30 million deal in 2018. The new deal will, however, be worth significantly more.

Sky Sports were the previous broadcasters before Premier Sports took over and the Pro14 are hopeful that the move will provide better room for growth.
