Club captain Stuart Hooper says Bath Rugby can be proud of last year’s achievements but the lock is determined to ensure a happier ending this time around.
Hooper, who is about to start his fourth season as skipper having first taken on the role in 2011, thought he would have something to show for his efforts last term as Bath looked set to return to the Aviva Premiership play-offs.
A draw to Northampton Saints and a final-day defeat to Harlequins saw them fall agonisingly short, however, as they ended the campaign in fifth, with the London outfit leapfrogging them at the death.
