Six Nations Highlights: France v Italy

After a sloppy first half of rugby, France eventually ran out 34-17 winners against Italy to gain their 1st win of this years competition. The hosts came out firing in the first half and raced into a 5-0 lead early thanks to a sneaky Gabrillagues try. With France looking in control, Italy surprisingly struck back, using the maul to great effect and gaining a penalty try off Wayne Barnes. France gained control of the game but failed to rack up any scores due to some poor handling errors. The second half the hosts improved massively, tries from Hugo Bonneval and MOTM Mathieu Bastareaud put the French well clear meaning a late consolation try from Minozzi didn't change the game.
