Danny Cipriani, who was England's replacement fly-half throughout the Six Nations, has described the tournament as the "best eight weeks of my life".

After Owen Farrell's injury, Cipriani was called in from the wilderness and was on the England bench for all five games, scoring a try against Italy when he came on as a late replacement.

He was one of a string of England players who used their social media accounts to pay tribute to their team-mates on and the fans on Sunday after England fell just six points short.
