Sharks injury update

Springbok scrumhalf Cobus Reinach and No 8 Philip van der Walt have both returned home after their team’s bold 15-14 victory due to injury. 

Van der Walt has had a season familiar with injury, as he started with an injury during the warm-up phase, and now appears to be out for a while with a neck injury. 

26-year-old scrum-half, Reinach has picked up a calf injury.

Stefan Ungerer and Giant Mtyanda are flying to New Zealand to provide adequate back-up at scrumhalf and lock, respectively.
