The 36 year old today announced he will be playing his last season.
Joining Leinster in 2017 he has gone on to win the Champions Cup and Pro 14 for the Irish Province.
Speaking to leinsterrugby.ie the veteran Australian forward said, “I’ve loved every minute of this adventure, not only the last few years with Leinster but all of it and of course there is still a lot of rugby to be played this season. We are still on a high after the weekend and we’ve a massive few weeks ahead and that is our focus right now."
Born in Sydney he made his Super Rugby debut for the Brumbies and went on to play 97 times for them before moving abroad. During his time in Australia he played 39 times for the Wallabies. Fardy has made the Pro 14 Dream Team side three times and also played in Japan for a few seasons.
