Scottish Rugby has confirmed that the Scotland Women match against Italy today has been postponed.
This decision has been made by the Italian Government due to an increased number of Corona-virus (Covid-19) cases in the Milan Area.
Late on Saturday it was confirmed that the Minister of Sport, Vincenzo Spadafora, intended to suspend all sporting events planned in the Veneto and Lombardy regions due to the growing threat of virus.
The clash was due to kick-off at 5.10pm GMT in Legnano which falls in the Lombardy region of Italy.
It was also confirmed that Six Nations, FIR and Scottish Rugby are continuing discussions in regard to the rescheduling of the fixture.
