Saturday Round-Up
Hughes ban rescinded: Wasps flanker Nathan Hughes has had his ban from the RFU for his incident with George North overturned. Hughes was sent off by referee Craig Maxwell-Keys for colliding with North as the Wales wing scored a try in Wasps' 52-30 defeat to Northampton and banned for 3 weeks. However on Friday his ban was rescinded after the panel ruled "no act of foul play took place in that the incident occurred accidentally". Hughes is now available for Wasps crunch fixture with fellow Top 4 chasers Exeter next week.
Bath too good for Falcons: Bath put in a great win away from home against Falcons as they won 29-19 claiming a bonus point. After last week's dissapointment in Europe it was important for Bath to get their season back up and running and close the gap on Saints at the top. 3 first half tries for Bath set them on there way with the Bath backs combining well. Sinoti pulled one back for the hosts with a lovely run on the outside to score, but in the second half Bath saw them off with Matt Banahan crashing over. Bath now sit 6 points behind Saints and 4 ahead of 3rd placed Saracens, who take on Leicester today in a crunch match for both.
