Saracens full-back Alex Goode sets his sights on Mike Brown's England jersey for autumn internationals

Alex Goode is determined to sidestep his way out of Mike Brown’s shadow and
snatch that No 15 jersey for the autumn internationals after playing a
starring role in Saracens' 40-19 win against Sale at Allianz Park on
Saturday.




The Saracens fullback has been England’s
chief bench-warmer in 2014, playing second fiddle to his Harlequins rival
Brown.




However, he is hoping to force his way back into the side for the autumn
campaign against the southern hemisphere sides by proving what a useful
attacking option he can be in the back division.
