Sale v Bath - Top Performers

Faf de Klerk

In difficult weather conditions in Manchester, the Springbok half-back was a calm presence for Sale and made some excellent decisions to limit the error count for his team. His box kicking was generally top class and his awareness of space is some of the best in the league.

Tom Curry

The undisputed breakdown king of the Premiership. He was everywhere out there at the AJ Bell. Up against his main contender for the England openside role, Curry dominated the contest at the breakdown and secured the game winning turnover for his side.

Anthony Watson

The England international returned to action following a year sidelined following an injury suffered in March 2018. He made a seamless comeback, slotting in at full-back, helping to diffuse the aerial threats posed by the Sale half backs throughout. He was comfortable under the high ball and retained his ability to beat defenders in tight space.
