Rugby World Cup back in action from tomorrow

The 2023 Rugby World Cup got under way with blockbuster battle between hosts France and two-time world champions New Zealand this past weekend, while the Springboks opened their title defence with a good win over Scotland amidst a series of entertaining encounters.

The Springboks’ upcoming pool matches are against Romania in Bordeaux (17 September), Ireland in Paris (23 September) and Tonga in Marseille (1 October), while it’s worth noting that the next group game takes place on Thursday between France and Uruguay.

This will be followed by three more days of consecutive action over the weekend.

The quarter-finals will be played on the weekend of 14/15 October, with the semi-finals on 20/21 October and the final on Saturday, 28 October.
