Round 2 Highlights: Leinster Rugby vs Cardiff Blues

Leinster ran out 37-9 victors over Cardiff Blues in this Guinness PRO14 clash from the RDS. The home side started slowly and found themselves trailing by 6 points after 30 minutes of play. Fortunately, in the 33rd minute, James Tracy crashed over the whitewash after Leinster's rolling maul smashed Cardiff backwards. Ross Byrne converted the try and then slotted a penalty to leave the half time score at 10-6 in favour of Leinster. The second half was played at a far more intense pace and as the clock ticked on, Leinster's class began to shine through. Three wonderful tries from Cronin, Daly and McCarthy were enough to see off the opposition and secure a vital bonus point victory. Special mention to Jack Conan who put in another incredible performance and was the rightful winner of the man of the match award.
