Round 17 Pro12 Highlights: Ulster Rugby v Benetton Rugby

Ulster ran out 19-7 victors over Treviso in this PRO12 clash at the Kingspan Stadium. The conditions were horrific and this made for a very sloppy game. Despite the countless handling errors, for which both sides can be excused, it was a great game to watch. Ulster dominated large parts of the game as expected but were unable to convert their dominance into a winning bonus point. Treviso put in one of their best defensive performances of the season and really did everything they could to stifle the dangerous Ulster attack. Ruan Pienaar was the stand out performer in tonight's game and bagged himself yet another man of the match award. Ulster will be disappointed not to have secured the bonus point victory but will be happy to continue their recent winning form. Despite coming away with nothing Treviso will take a lot of pride in their performance tonight and will hope it provides them with a good platform from which to improve.
