The first round of Tyrrells Premier 15s fixtures of 2020 took place with a number of close encounters across the five matches.
The first game of the day took place in the West Country where Bristol Bears Women overpowered bottom side Firwood Waterloo Ladies.
The Bears ran in eight tries in total with a hat-trick for centre Phoebe Murray as they secured a 48-0 victory.
Champions Saracens Women welcomed play-off chasing Loughborough Lightning to Allianz Park and established a 24-7 half-time lead.
Lightning battled back to get within three points in the closing stages, but a late score from Mackenzie Carson secured a 39-31 victory and maintained Sarries' 100% record so far this season.
Another game in the West Country saw Gloucester-Hartpury Women face leaders Harlequins Women, in what was Sean Lynn's first game in charge of the Cherry and Whites.
It ended in a comfortable [17-29] bonus-point win for Quins who return to the top of the table after they trailed 10-7 at the break.
In the northeast, Darlington Mowden Park Sharks were over run by a rampant Wasps FC Ladies side who managed to secure their try bonus-point by half-time as they sat 31 points up.
A further two scores saw them secure a 7-45 victory as they returned to London with five points in the bag.
The final match of the weekend took place at Sixways in the live stream offering as Worcester Warriors Women faced Richmond Women.
In a tight game throughout, it was the Warriors who secured a first ever Premier 15s victory over Richmond [24-17], as well as taking home a try bonus-point for their four scores.
Richmond take a losing bonus-point back to London for their efforts in what was a tight game throughout.
