Richard Cockerill vows Leicester will not cut Manu Tuilagi adrift


Richard Cockerill, the Leicester Tigers director of rugby, stuck by Manu
Tuilagi today, saying that he is a “good bloke” and that Leicester would
seek to help him and not “cut him adrift”.



Tuilagi will not feature in England’s squad for the World Cup after being
convicted of three charges of assault and one of criminal damage.



Cockerill said, however, that Tuilagi had never sought to evade responsibility
for his actions.
