Rhys Webb wins Welsh Rugby Writers' award
Wales and Ospreys scrum-half Rhys Webb has won the Welsh Rugby Writers' player of the year award. Webb, who scored 19 tries in 27 appearances for Wales and Ospreys last season, beat fellow club mate Dan Biggar to the award.
Webb had a stellar season last year, cementing a place in Warren Gatland's starting 15.
Webb received the award at the Welsh Rugby Writers' Association Annual Lloyd Lewis Awards Evening, which was held in Cardiff on Tuesday.
Scarlets flanker James Davies was awarded with Wales' most promising player at the same ceremony.
