Cheetahs & Springbok wing Raymond Rhule has confirmed his move to the Western Province and the Stormers.
Rhule confirmed the move to South African new outlet Netwerk24, stating that he will leave the Cheetahs after the completion of this year’s Currie Cup.
The 24-year-old, who made his debut against France and started all three Tests in June, is expected to be included in the Springbok squad for the Rugby Championship which means he will take no further part in Free State’s Currie Cup campaign.
His 50th Currie Cup game against the Sharks in Bloemfontein late last month was therefore likely his last for the Free State Cheetahs.
Earlier reports had linked Rhule with a move to the Stormers, while his Cheetahs team-mates Sergeal Petersen, Oupa Mohoje are also expected to join the Cape-franchise.
The Stormers, at this stage, have not confirmed any new signings.
