Remembering Joost one year after his passing

Today (February 6th) marks one year since the passing of former Springbok scrumhalf Joost van der Westhuizen to Motor Neurone Disease at the age of 45.

Van der Westhuizen was inducted into the International Rugby Hall of Fame in 2007, and in 2015 became a member of the World Rugby Hall of Fame.

The legendary scrumhalf captained the Boks from 1999-2003 earning 89 caps for the national team, participating in three World Cup tournaments.
