Reid captains for trip to Sale Sharks

The Gallagher PREM enters Round 12 this weekend, with Bath Rugby making the trip to the CorpAcq Stadium to face Sale Sharks.

Miles Reid will lead the Blue, Black and White to Salford, looking to continue Bath’s momentum after last week’s home victory.

Named in the front row, Scott Kirk and Vilikesa Sela will start, sandwiched by Dan Frost at hooker.

Will Jeanes partners a returning Ross Molony in the second row to complete the tight five.

Captaining from Number 8, Reid is joined in the back row by Ted Hill and Ethan Staddon.

Tom Carr-Smith commands proceedings from scrum-half, linking up with Santi Carreras as this week’s half-back pairing.

Centres Cameron Redpath and Louie Hennessey will combine in the midfield.

Will Muir and Joe Cokanasiga rekindle their familiar combination on the wings, while Tom de Glanville occupies the space at full back.

Kepueli Tuipulotu, Beno Obano and Thomas du Toit will make their impact from the bench.

Charlie Ewels, Ewan Richards and Alfie Barbeary complete the replacement forwards.

Filling the bench, Bernard van der Linde and Chris Harris provide their cover among the backs.  

The game kicks off at the CorpAcq Stadium on Sunday 26 March at 15:00.
