Rebels to fly into the Hurricanes
- 1239
After a New Zealand-dominated Round 1 of the new Super Rugby Trans Tasman competition, the wounded Australian contingent will be keen to get their own back when Round 2 rolls around, kicking off tomorrow.
The Rebels will relish the chance to make amends for the pasting they took at the hands of the Blues in Round 1 – the latter running out 50-3 victors on foreign turf.
This time around, the rebels will tackle the Hurricanes who were party to arguably the most eventful fixture last week; a try-fest between themselves and the Waratahs.
The Rebels will have put in some tough shifts at training this week and they and their supporters will be hoping for a much-improved performance after being completely outdone in every facets of the game last weekend. However, they face a Hurricanes side who, while leaking several tries on defence, have displayed wonderful attacking ability which any team will have difficulty containing. All things considered, the Hurricanes should be confident of victory.
