Racing 92 send out a warning to Saracens with Paris Derby romp

Racing 92 face off against Saracens in the opening round of the Champions Cup.
The final Champions Cup fixture of the opening weekend is billed to be an entertaining one as an under-fire Saracens will look to kick off their title defence against a fired up Racing 92 side.
Although Racing are still without their superstar second-rower Leone Nakawara, they welcomed the return of internationals Finn Russell, Maxime Machenaud and Virmi Vakatawa against Stade Francais this past weekend.
Russell and Vakatawa were superb but Teddy Thomas stole the headlines completing a hattrick after being snubbed for a place in the France squad for the Rugby World Cup.
Thomas' first try came after Virmi Vakatawa got his side out of a sticky situation with a stellar carry and offload to put the winger.
His second came from a brilliant grubber from Scotland International Finn Russell who weighted his kick perfectly in between two defenders for Thomas to score out wide.
His third and certainly the most opportunistic try was off a knock on from Stade Francais centre Jonathan Danty, who knocked the ball on in front of the winger and Thomas wrapped up the ball to complete his hattrick.
While some of his clubmates featured in the Rugby World Cup, Thomas has been a nightmare for opposing defences in the TOP 14 so far this season. He has scored 5 tries, beaten 14 defenders, registered 10 clean breaks and more over 243 running metres in just 4 games.
