PRO14 Round 9 Highlights: Cheetahs v Benetton Rugby

The Cheetahs recorded just their second win in the Pro14 this season as they edged Benetton 31-25 in round 9. Benetton crossed for an early try, but the Cheetahs hit back shortly after with their first score to lead 7-5. A penalty saw Benetton in front before they ran in their second try to take a 15-7 lead into the halftime break. The Cheetahs got off to the perfect start in the second half, with their second try reducing the deficit to just a single point. A Benetton penalty made it a four point ball game, but the Cheetahs responded with their third try to hit the front 21-18 heading into the final quarter. The sea-saw battle continued as Benetton's third try with ten minutes to play saw the visitors back in the lead at 25-21. However, the Cheetahs would finish the stronger of the sides, running in a fourth try and slotting a late penalty to seal a bonus point six victory.
