PRO14 Highlights: Connacht vs Edinburgh

Edinburgh edge out this close encounter at the Sportsground, winning by a 7 point margin. Edinburgh got off to the best of starts with a try after 14 seconds by Fife and a 7 minute penalty by Van der Walt to lead 10-0. Connacht instantly replied with a try of their own by O'Halloran and another score by Farrell to lead 14-8 after twenty minutes. Edinburgh continued the try scoring with a brilliant individual try by Van der Merwe but Carty nailed a penalty kick just before half time to lead 17-13. The second half lacked the same try scoring theme until the 65th minute when Bealham powered over for a score. Duncan Weir inspired an Edinburgh resurgence with 3 penalties and a try to snatch the win for the Scots.
