Premiership Highlights: Northampton 24-26 Bristol

his was a match that you will likely only see once in your life time. Jumping to the final 15 minutes of the game, including the 7 minutes of extra time, we had 4 yellow cards and a ridiculous amount of penalties by the Northampton Saints, the teams stayed on the far right of the field on the Saints 5m line for that entire time as the Saints were desperately trying to stop the try by the Bears and this created a very messy 15 minutes of play, the Saints were down to 11 men and 8 of them were needed for the scrum on their 5m line, leaving 3 men in the back to defend the try line. This was not enough as the Bears scored on the far left which still made for a very difficult kick to take the 2 point lead as the teams were even after the try, but Ian Madigan successfully converted the try to give the Bears the win. Final score 24-26 with both teams scoring four tries each and a bonus point is awarded to them both. The first half of the game was dominated by the Bears and the scored two tries of which one was converted, but in the second quarter the game changed as the Saints began to play in the Bears half and were the only team to score in those 20 minutes before the half time buzzer. The Saints then score two quick tries in the first 10 minutes of the second half and this gave them the lead, a try from the Bears and then the Saints again gave them the lead to the Saints 24-19. The final 15 minutes of the game was very eventful without the ball actually moving. In the end the Bears took the win and excluding the last few minutes of the game it was a good one to watch and both teams deserved to win.
