Premiership Highlights: Bath 29-31 Harlequins
What a match! The final score was 29-31 in favour of the Harlequins who scored a try in the last play of the game. The match had moments for either team where they were dominant and both teams had a chance to hold the lead. The first 15 minutes were very one sided as the Quins scored and converted two unanswered tries before Bath finally started to play a little rugby and put points on the board but then quickly put on 11 points with 2 kicks at goal and an unconverted try. The Quins put in a try of their own and this one was converted in the 34th minute of play. In the dying seconds of the first half, Bath quickly scored a try wants again not converted, the score was at 16-21 in favour of the Quins. In the second half the match seemed to be pretty even before Bath scored and kicked at goal successfully in the 50th minute.And then 14 minutes later converted a try. This gave them a significant lead. The Quins and Bath were both still very competitive from this point on and the Quins scored a try but missed the conversion in the 71st minute. A back and forth battle was being fought by both teams for the last 9 minutes of play before the Quins made a magical try in the 80th minute to win the game by 2 points. Try scorers were Chris Robshaw, Joe Marchant (X2) Alex Dombrandt and Nathan Earle for the winning team and for Bath Jonathan Joseph, Nathan Catt and Ross Batty were the try scorers. A truly fantastic game to witness and I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did. I'm Ted Barber, have a great day.
