Premiership Highlights: Exeter Chiefs v Worcester Warriors
- 1460
Worcester were impressive in defence as they managed to defeat Premeiership leaders 5-6 at Sanday park. The visitors enjoyed long periods of possession with Bryce Heem and Chris Pennell making yards at every opportunity. Worcester used the wind to their advantage in the first half and two penalties through the boot of Pennell gave the visitors a 6-0 lead at halftime.
Exeter came out firing in the second half and a try from Mitch Lees on 56 minutes gave the hosts real hope of winning the fixture. Steenson was unable to convert however, and this but the Chiefs on the back foot. From here, Exeter worked their way inside the Worcester 22 on multiple occasions but time after time the Warriors held firm and forced errors. Worcester deserved their win after a really dogged defensive performance. FT here Exeter Chiefs 5 Worcester Warriors 6
